As a DJ, I’m all about making sure everyone is having a good time. It’s important to keep the energy up and also keep things as organized as possible. DJing is a lot more than pressing play and scratching. I strive to keep things as simple and as fun as possible. Whether it be your big wedding day or a banging party, I want to make sure your event is as great as it can possibly be.

For every event, I try to make it different from the last. No party should be treated the same and I believe each event should have its own unique sound and flavor to it. This is why I work customized playlists for every event. You give me any music requests and I’ll come up with a set that will match your preferences.
Fast and Efficient Communicator
DJing is of course the most important part of my job. However, the small things should never be overlooked. I pride myself in being a quick communicator when it comes to dealing with clients. I try to keep my process simple and get things done as quickly as possible. For important events such as weddings, a lot of planning goes into making those events run smoothly and I do my best to get work done in a timely manner so it’s less stressful for clients. I can be contacted by a variety of different means and I will make sure that everything is in order for your event.
Strong Technique/Style
The one thing that you can guarantee is that I don’t skip the fundamentals. Technique and style is the name of the game and nobody has a style quite like DJ Afrolicious. I have a radio/club style of DJing which places a heavy emphasis on selection and flow. I pride myself on being strong with my transitions and having a smart selection of songs that have a cohesive flow between each other. My DJing style is also very energetic and dance driven. I love to dance and I do my best to get everybody go crazy on the dance floor.
I Got the Fits
Looks are a huge deal to me which is why I always come dressed to impressed. Whether it be my funky Hawaiian shirts or my slick suits for weddings, I will dress appropriately for your event. If you got a Halloween party, I’ll come with a costume. If you got a color theme for your wedding, I’ll wear colors to match your theme. Whatever the event, I will always have a unique outfit for the occasion.
Good Pricing
DJs can be expensive so I do my best to have good, affordable prices. I have rates that’ll match up to your event given the number of hours and number of expected guests. For weddings, I have a variety of packages that cover different sized weddings and they all come with great perks at each level. All rates (excluding packages) are also negotiable as well. This means that if you got a real tight budget, you can contact me and we can negotiate a price that’ll work for you.
